Flower Pins

I have been knitting flower pins that can be used as a broach or to pin a scarf together in a fashionable way. I started with solid colors but have now explored different yarns and combining colors. Here are a few of them:

Other Hand-Knitted Goodies

This scarf was made of three plys of yarn. I also knitted the flower pin that is attached to it.

Here is a close up of the rosette flower pin that I knitted.

This scarf made with boucle yarn imported from Italy that I got at a yarn store in downtown NY

Above is one of my first scarves, I ended up sewing it closed at the ends and making it into a neck warmer since it was on the shorter side!

Flash Back to an older project

I came across some things that I made awhile ago. I made these bags during a college class I took on scholarship in my senior year of high school called "Sewn Products Entrepreneurship"

The inspiration of these bags came from the artwork of Piet Mondrian and Geometric Shapes in general. I also made stencils for the outside, each bag had its own internal inspiration. I used canvas duck cloth fabric for the self, and printed cotton for lining. I used gold and silver tone chain for the handles. If I were to go back I would have used a thicker interlining so the shape held better. I still can't believe I made these while I was just 17.
